Dylan and his buddy... Grandpa Dale

On December 22, 2001 on the way to our family Christmas party, we were involved in a motor vehicle accident that changed our lives forever. As a result, Dylan sustained a Complete Spinal Cord Injury at T-12 which means that he is paralyzed from the waist down. The Drs. say that this is a permanent injury, but with all of the medical advancement, no one can really say what is going to happen.

This journal is about and for Dylan. There is a guestbook and we all would appreciate it if you click on the guestbook and leave a message....Dylan loves to have his mail read to him, and he is also learning how to read, so this is giving him practice. Thank you all for your support and please remember to visit our other friends on Caringbridge.

We are finally home!

After a long 24 hours, Dylans fever has broke and we are home with antibiotics that will hopefully work for him til at least we can see his Dr's at Gillette next week Wednesday and thursday. He has now missed 3 days of school which he hates and next week will be the same, but he is a smart kid and he will bounce back... like he has done so many times over the years! Thank you all for coming over and sending your thoughts and prayers. Thank you Eva for updating so fast, like always! And yes PaPa Tom... we will hit the Scotch if this does not work!
