We love you and miss you already!
"Farewell, our beloved son, our brother, our friend, and our many dreams. We release you, at last, not in sadness, but in joy. For the song you brought shall "sing" forever in our hearts!"

Tuesday, August 5, 2008 9:08 AM CDT Already into August . . the summer is flying right by and soon we will be into the Fall. I have been busy stripping wallpaper, filling holes with plaster, and painting bedrooms, the bathroom, and the hallways. My hand goes numb for some reason for this slows me down quite a bit as I have to keep shaking it awake! It's probably arthritis . .but what can you do except work through it!
We had company this past weekend as Andrew's girlfriend came for the Lobster Festival and brought her parents and brother. So . .we all did alot of eating!! The weather wasn't too great but everyone seemed to have a good time. The portabello mushroom burgers were . . mmmmmmm . . really tasty!! And the blueberry drinks may be my new favorite.
Alex, Elias, and Charlie have all stopped in to visit, but they've been busy this summer. Good to see them though.
Took Duncan out for a walk last night and the stars were so bright all I could think about was Nathan. You could see the Milky Way, the Big Dipper, Scorpio, Jupiter and I think, Venus . . shining. Nathan asked me if he could go to the stars and I told him that I hoped he could. So whenever I look at the night sky I remember, but of course, it made me miss him so much too. That longing to see him just never really lets up. There is a new organization dedicated to funding research for all cancer called 'Stand Up to Cancer' and for one dollar you can place your loved one in the 'stars' of a constellation . . so I couldn't resist . . I added Nathan and he now has his own 'star' in their constellation:
SU2C Constellation-Nathan's Star
You can go look for his star or, if you wish, for one dollar anyone can add comments to Nathan's star. Just click on 'SEARCH FOR A STAR' and type in Nathan Robertson . . it should pop up on the screen . . if you want to add a comment you will need to click on his star, it will ask for a dollar donation, and than you can write a comment. Either way . . it was kind of fun to create a star for him.
