Camble Rene` Kirkhove

Hello everyone and welcome to Miss Camble's update page. This page was made to keep all of our friends and family updated with Camble's progress. She was diagnosed March 9, 2004 with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia. Camble was flown to St. Judes on March 10, 2004 to start what has been a very long and tiring road. She has managed to do well with all of her treatment, which has been a blessing in itself. After some intensive chemo she went into remission and has remained there. She continues to do well, but not with out the power of prayer and the love of the lord. Please feel free to check in on her frequently and always sign the guest book. We love to hear from everyone.

Well it is that time fo year again. Time for Camble to turn a yar older. It is hard to believe she will be 5 on friday. My little firecracker baby!!!
She is all ready to be 5 and to watch the fireworks!! She also has to stop sucking her thumb on friday. It was a deal she made w her nana because big girls do not suck their thumbs!!

Wow this year just seems to be flying past.
Camble and I are both done with school for the summer.
What a relief that is. She is very excited to be starting a new school next year.

This summer she is going to be keeping pretty busy. She is in tumbling, t-ball, and soon dance. She loves more then anything to be outside playing on her swingset. She also enjoys riding her new 4-wheeler.

The last few weeks have been pretty busy and somewhat hectic for us. My dad (Camble's Papa) had a heart attack a few weeks ago. Luckily he was close to a great hospital so they got him fixed up and out the door in no time. We are definately count our blessings everyday and we are very happy that everything is ok w dad. Unfortunately, my grandpa died the exact same day that my dad had a heart attack. I guess you take the good with the bad. I know my grandpa is happy again to be w my grandma.

Camble's birthday is coming up. I can not believe she will be 5 in 3 weeks. WOW where does the time go. She keeps coming up w things she wants for her birthday. She is on a mission. She has to stop sucking her thumb when she turns 5, because big girls do not suck their thumbs. Last night she tied her arm to her bed so that she could not suck her thumb. Well she tied the ribbon a little to tight so she had to have papa come cut it off. I'll give it to her she is really really trying.

We have a busy summer ahead of us. My sisters wedding and all the events surrounding it are coming up. We also have several other weddings and events to attend this sumer.
