Christian NEWS!

Christian is good! Today, I finally called and checked his lab results from last Friday. I had thought they were generally ok and have been taking care of him and his siblings. It has been a busy month.

His CRP is down to 12.1 from 15, and actually he had surgery that day, almost normal (0-10). His platelets are down as well to 499,000, getting better. Below 300,000 would be the goal. His other numbers are normal.

He is healing up nicely from his port a cath. No problems, looks great. He also had three warts removed from his lower back in the area he had chemo. They have been there since last April-May a year ago. Since he was sleeping, we had those off as well. The largest spot is taking a little bit longer to heal and I am keeping it super clean.
We had hoped he could swim today, but Mom thinks he needs to stay out of the water another day or so.

He has finished up his school and speech for the year. Summer starts for him now.
Today was a transitional day for us. Our insurance with Reynolds ended. We did have an overlap, the Florida insurance started May 1st.

Cory finally found a place for us to live. He moves in with his air mattress on Sunday.

We are looking forward to settling down a little the next month and enjoying the pool.

Christian can't wait to see Daddy. He and I are flying to meet him for a week in June. The other kids will be at Camp Carefree and Steven will be here working.

We are also very excited about the whole family (well, 4 little kids and Momma) going to Camp Debbie Lou in South Carolina. It will be a lot of fun and a special blessing for us to be able to go there and be there with other families.

Summer is getting hot and it's just going to get hotter, hotter and hotter as we are here in NC, travel to SC, and then move on down to FL.

We are getting used to and maybe a little excited about the move to FL. We have not all been really excited, but as the time gets closer and now that Daddy has gotten us all set up there, we think it will be a great town for us.

Lots of swimming pools and springs to cool off. We have checked into lots of things for the family and kids and think it will be great.

Cory absolutly loves his new job and is very busy doing his animations and settling in.

Also, I will try to upload his birthday pictures to shutterfly soon. I tried to upload to facebook, but everyone could not see them.

We have lots of moving cleaning and organizing to do, Yay.

We will have cards soon with all our new contact information in June. We don't leave until July.
