MADISON'S UPDATE...November 15, 2007

Dear family and friends,

Thank you once again for your prayers regarding Madison's recent
reconstructive surgery. She is doing very well, healing wonderfully,
and feeling great. She returned to Houston 3 weeks ago to have some
stitches removed and for a check-up. As of right now, she does not
return to MD Anderson until March of 2008. She will continue to recover
and be seen by her pediatric oncologist in Savannah.

For those of you who have not heard, the PET scan that was done prior
to Madison's surgery was completely clear! The PET scan was done
because of some concern on the CT scan in the neck lymph nodes area,
but everything checked out fine!

Our family has moved into a new home this past week here in Statesboro.
We closed on our home in Florida about 10 days ago and the movers
brought our furniture and things last weekend. We are very busy
painting and cleaning, but if feels so good to plant some roots here in
Georgia and to feel more settled. Our new address is at the close of
this email.

God is faithful and His mercies are new every morning, and He has been
so good to us. Even through the "tough stuff" we have felt and depended
on His presence and guidance. We are still working through some
insurance denials and appeals for Madison's chemotherapy, so continue
to pray for these matters to be resolved. We re working with an
advocacy foundation for further appeal and legal advice.

PLEASE READ THIS REQUEST!!!...We could really use your help with
something. Madison is collecting recipes by email to create a
fundraiser cookbook for cancer research and support organizations. She
hopes to collect as many recipes from friends, family, and celebrities
as possible by the end of December and then have it printed by
March/April 2008 in time for the ACS Relay For Life. This will be her
primary fundraiser for the year, and since she has such a strong
interest in cooking and baking, this is a very appropriate project for
her to take on. Would you please send one or a few recipes to me at
your earliest convenience? My email is cmrenee@aol.com. Please include
your name, city, state, and how you know Madison. If you also have a
favorite cooking tip, please also include that! Madison has been
offered a complete Cookbook design and layout, free of cost from Leigh
Thompson of Bliss Lane Graphic Design in Savannah, so we will only have
the cost of printing to pull this off. We really need your help because
it will take hundreds of recipes to make a nice book. I need them by
email if at all possible so the can be copied and pasted in a document
easier. Thank you!!

May God greatly bless you for the love and encouragement you've shown
our family over and over again, and may you have a very meaningful
Thanksgiving Holiday. Remember to take time to count the many, many
blessings that God has given. We will definitely be doing that our
house!!
