Our Hero Eddie 3rd

This website is dedicated to a very special little boy. The little boy you will meet in this site is truly a miracle of life. He has become a teacher and an inspiration to many And loved by all. I watched him go from lifeless to full of life. I cherish no one as much as i do my son, He's my miracle,My hero,My heart and soul.

Histiocytosis is a rare blood disease that is caused by an excess of white blood cells called histiocytes. The histiocytes cluster together and can attack the skin, bones, lung, liver, spleen, gums,
eyes, and or the central nervous system. The disease can range from limited involvement that spontaneously regresses to progressive multi-organ involvment that can be chronic and debilitating.
In some cases the disease can be life-threatening.
This was taken off the HAA website for more information you can visit histio.org

We now have a date Eddie will have his port taken out on Dec 1st we have to be there at 6am. This is the first time i was happy my child had to have surgery yet it will still be so hard for me to hand him over. I still cry when we put him under for scans. So please say a prayer for my lil man to have a smooth surgery and for him to wake up happy in no pain so we can hurry up and get home.

I am so sorry it has taken me so long for an update but believe me when i say no news is GREAT news.

Eddie just had another set of scans and they came back Great! He had a great 3rd b-day and for halloween he was the cutest power ranger i have ever seen in my life.

He is talking up a storm now just the other night he was talking to me and i could not believe how much he is talking now It really made me realize my baby is not a lil baby anymore. I almost wanted to cry but i am just loving this age! I can do without the talking back and running in his room slamming the door and screaming when he is mad at you :) He is very feisty i wonder where he gets that from his daddy says me but i plead the fifth lol.

We do not have a set date for his surgery but i think we might be looking at the beginning of Dec we should find out soon and i will make sure to come back and let you know when we find out.

Aunt Jessica if you are reading this i want you to know i check Brady's website everyday but for some reason i can not sign the guestbook. As i have told you many times Brady and your Family will always have a special place in my heart. Give Kyle a hug for me and let him know he is always in my prayers and thoughts.

And for everyone reading i hope you have a very nice Turkey Day!

Enjoy the Halloween and B-day pics

Love Laurie

The Best Things in Life Are Free

When we count
our many blessings;
It isn't hard to see
that life's most valued
treasures are the
treasures that are free.
For it isn't what
we own or buy
that signifies
our wealth.
It's the special
gifts that have
no price:
our family,
friends and health.
