Comforting Angels

An angel kissed my tears away
today when I was sad.
I wasn't feeling quite myself
my day had been so bad.
I felt a warmth brush by me
that quickly dried my tears.
A gentle, kind, & loving touch
that seemed to hold me near.
Immediately, I felt so much better
& the day seemed brighter too.
I guess that's just the way you feel
when an Angel comforts you.

HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY, MY SWEET LITTLE ANGEL!

To my dearest Abbigail,

On your 4th birthday you were so happy. You were feeling good, your hair was growing back and you were eating. I can remember it like it was yasterday, not almost three years ago. Seven years old! WOW that is starting to be such a big kid. You would be in the 1st grade. You would be going to mommy school with Dylan so that I could keep an eye you. Your teacher's name would have been Mrs. DeMott is she the nicest teacher at my school and she would have loved you. I watch other 1st graders and wander what you would be like. What shows, clothes, music, food, actors you would like.

Today I read the book to my class with your story mema wrote. I am not going to be at school tomorrow because of your birthday and wanted my students to know why. I was surprised that my students were crying and one of my toughest students gave me a hug and told me how sorry he was. That is big. Your story is still bring people together.

I love and miss you every second of everyday even if I don't show everyone, but you know how I feel in my heart so I don't have to tell you that. I hope one day to make you proud by doing something as great and wonderful as you. You are and will always be my best friend. I love you! Even if I can't have a converstation, go shopping, paint our nails, or discuss what boy you should date. That will always be a hole in my heart. XOXOXOXOXO
