<xhtml:p>CaringBridge is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization offering free
personalized websites to those wishing to stay in touch with family
and friends during a significant health challenge. Our mission is
to amplify the love, hope and compassion in the world, making each
health journey easier.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:h2>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:</xhtml:h2>
<xhtml:hr/>
<xhtml:ul>
<xhtml:li>Researches, creates, tests implements and manages campaigns
with Google, Yahoo!, Bing, Facebook and online display advertising
channels.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Provides recommendations, and best practices for emerging
online marketing opportunities and tactics that assist in achieving
CaringBridge’s organizational goals.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Analyzes and reports on campaign data and adjusts accordingly
using tracking and analytics to deliver maximum return on ad
spend.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Identifies, documents and coordinates opportunities which will
improve website optimization (SEO).</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Stays current with all search industry developments and best
practices including testing and optimization strategies.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Coordinates the execution of Web site content to meet growth
and awareness objectives.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Maintains a deep understanding of online advertising
metrics.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Follows trends and reports on SEO, SEM and social media
optimization.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Maintains brand consistency (message and visual) across
channels of communication.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Establishes and sustains relationships with external vendors
and contacts to result in favorable networks to support the current
and future goals of the organization.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Keeps manager informed of important developments, potential
problems and related information necessary for effective
management.  Coordinates/communicates plans and activities with
others, as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and team
approach.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Performs related work as apparent or assigned.</xhtml:li>
</xhtml:ul>
<xhtml:h2>Experience and Qualifications:</xhtml:h2>
<xhtml:hr/>
<xhtml:ul>
<xhtml:li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, mass
communications or related field. </xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>3-5 years of experience in an interactive marketing position of
similar responsibilities.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>2 years of SEM experience.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Experience working with analytics systems: Google Analytics,
Omniture, WebTrends or similar experience.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Strong self-starter with a record of success.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Strong oral and written communication skills.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Strong collaboration and teambuilding skills.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Excellent organizational and planning skills.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Excellent understanding of the diverse needs of internet
users.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Ability to cope with the rapid pace and constant change
associated with the industry.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Ability to successfully manage numerous projects
simultaneously.</xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Knowledge of CSS, Html, XHtml, PHP, SEO and web standards,
Photoshop, Flash and Illustrator.  Experience with Microsoft
Office. </xhtml:li>
<xhtml:li>Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
with personnel and outside contacts.</xhtml:li>
