Wednesday, September 10, 2008 3:57 PM CDT Hello everyone,
Hope everything is well with you
Everything here at school is back in full swing that's for sure. This year I have decided to take part in Rez council which is going to be a lot of fun I think. We get to plan events that will occur on rez or up at the school.
Classes are going extermely well , loving all my classes, I had to drop my sing language course because it's too difficult because I do not have full ROM (range of motion) in my left arm. Instead I have added so course that helps you set goals and things like that. So far it seems like a fun class although the maturity level in there is that of a high school class. I guess it's just a bunch of people that don't take school seriously, The professor even talks to us like we are in high school ,and threatend to send some students out who were acting like they were in high school , you know the talking when the teacher is talking, and just being rude. I have a feeling that some people are either going to drop this course , or even get kicked out. Oh well they'll be the ones suffering not me. I am going to work REALLY REALLY hard this year and get good marks and try and make it on the Dean's list for graduation.
PSW's started coming yesterday to help me get ready for the day and for bed. It's a huge help believe me , some night's I'm so tired that some things are just impossible despite my best efforts.
I have been having issues with my seating in my chair, it's making my hands/arms all numb after a while. So I called the place where I got my chair and they are going to call my OT. Maybe a diffrent type of seating is needed or maybe some adjustemts to this one. If they make lower the laterals then there goes sitting up staright. So I have no idea what's going to happen.
I had better go find some supper and they get back to work on my psych class (my favourite class).
My ulitimate goal is to get my masters in Social work so we'll see how that goes.
Feel free to sign my guest book.
Ashlee
