Drew had a rare liver disease called biliary atresia and received a liver transplant in January of 2005.

One Year!

I'm amazed! I can't believe it's been one year already. We are celebrating with gifts and a trip to the Rain Forest Cafe for dinner. It is a day of mixed feelings... Elation that we made it through the first year with just relatively minor issues... and a feeling of sadness for our donor family. Keep them in your hearts today.
